In May, the City of Ryde celebrated some of the community’s unsung heroes with the presentation of its annual Volunteer Recognition Awards. Held as part of National Volunteer Week, the awards recognised a dedicated and often behind-the-scenes group of volunteers who generously give their time, skills and passion to strengthen and enrich the lives of people across the City of Ryde.
We are thrilled to congratulate our very own Katrina Doring, who was named Individual Volunteer of the Year. Katrina has devoted more than 30 years of outstanding volunteer service to ERNA, making an invaluable contribution to the Association. During her 20 years as Treasurer, she has played a vital role in overseeing the Association’s finances, while also providing her expertise and support across numerous committees. Katrina’s commitment extends beyond administration, with her coaching representative teams and supporting players and programs at every level of the game.
Katrina’s greatest impact can be seen through her leadership and dedication in helping deliver our new home of netball at Bennelong Sports Centre. Through countless hours of hard work, passion and commitment, she has created a lasting legacy for ERNA and the wider community.
Congratulations, Katrina, on this well-deserved recognition. Your contribution, leadership and unwavering dedication continue to inspire us all.
